Evan Barnes is a Nelson based Wedding Photographer offering wedding Photography packages for wedding services and celebrations in Nelson and the Nelson area, and also been commissioned to Photograph weddings overseas.

My wedding style of photography is of a Journalism approach which is my background, coming from dealing from the pressures of working on a newspaper dealing with people and deadlines which is much the same as creating powerful wedding images and the essence of capturing the moment,and documenting your special day as it has actually happened.

From the first contact wedding Photography is about listening to what the client expects from their wedding Photography as individual people have different requests, whether its making sure to get special images of Grandparents or capture special moments of children, these are all important parts to weddings.

I really enjoy the post production work on the images and creating something really special for my clients,and providing images that they are excited about showing off to family and friends. Most important is at the end when my clients have their images they have really enjoyed their special day.
