First of all congratulations, if you’re reading this, you must be planning something really exciting.

The mere fact that two people have fallen in love is awesome. So to get married, that’s an occasion worth celebrating. Weddings should be the most fun ever. I am all about marriage. I think it’s the best thing two people can do together unless you count winning Lotto and flying around the world.

Honestly, I am such a fan of two people committing themselves to marriage that I always go that extra mile to ensure that your ceremony has that WOW factor. There’s no chance this will be an irrelevant or meaningless affair. I can guarantee even the audience is engaged!

Also, I am married to Steve Brown of Black Diamond Photography who is one of NZ’s top wedding photographers and has won two silver awards in Europe and one bronze in Italy. When we work together, in union there is strength.

By choosing me as your celebrant, you are not just hiring someone to conduct your ceremony. As your celebrant, I will guide you through a journey to design and build a tailor-made wedding that is as traditional, meaningful, fun or quirky as you want it to be. With over 400 weddings to my name, I have the expertise to make your day simply incredible, incredibly simple.

I will be your personal designer, planner, adviser, creative writer, storyteller, and public speaker. I come with bags of enthusiasm, warm smiles and lots of ideas and experience.

If you book me to be your wedding celebrant, and more so if you want me to be your MC, it’s really important that I get to know you well. From key events like the first time you met and your engagement to your everyday life. I try to arrange your wedding consultation at your home or mine.

You will have ownership of your entire ceremony. But don’t worry – I’ll guide you through the whole process. On booking I’ll give you some small tasks to work on so that I know I’m creating exactly what you want. I will do all the hard work of research and writing, I even present you with a 60-page e-book on wedding planning and you should find the whole experience fun, relaxed and enjoyable.

Having taught tourism and event management for years, I am also a mastermind of wedding money-saving and DIY weddings – after all, you’re not restricted to licensed venues!

Not only am I a celebrant and MC, but I am also a qualified life coach, a tour operator and on top of all that I am married to Steve Brown from Black Diamond Photography, who was voted NZ’s most outstanding wedding photographer, so you can get the entire package rolled into one if you so wanted!

Steve & Jackie did our wedding at The Blue Baths on the 2nd of Feb this year. An absolutely amazing day! Jackie did an awesome job with the ceremony. Everyone was relaxed & full of laughter. Steve was just astonishing! So many people applauded their work after the wedding. Once we got the DVD and photos, we knew we chose the right photographer.
