Tairoa Lodge - a wedding venue where history and beauty combine. The 1875 Victorian villa, hidden away amongst towering Kauri, Pohutukawa and Giant Bamboo, is located on the edge of Hawera, South Taranaki.

With its beautiful park-like grounds, Tairoa Lodge was profiled in the NZ House & Garden magazine. It is classified as a ‘Garden of Significance’ by the NZ Gardens Trust and is featured annually in the Taranaki Garden Festival.

Specialising in weddings, we have extensive experience within the industry. From your ceremony to your reception together with boutique accommodation (sleeping up to 16-20 people), we have everything covered at Tairoa Lodge. Our purpose-built function venue Tairoa Church Hall offers the perfect space for both intimate and larger groups and provides a wet weather option for a garden ceremony.

The large deck from Tairoa Church Hall overlooks sweeping lawns and is perfect for enjoying drinks and canapes pre-dinner. As part of our Tairoa Weddings Package, you will arrange your own catering and beverages and have the use of our commercial kitchen and dedicated bar area. Set up and clean up costs are included in our wedding pack.
