I am here to assist you to turn your dreams into reality in a relaxed manner with a touch of humour or perhaps you prefer something more formal. Together we create a day you will always remember. I have the compassion, the discipline and the enthusiasm to be there for you, to create the perfect ceremony for your perfect day. Whether you choose to be married on your farm or in your backyard, on the beach or in a public park, inside a chapel or a movie theatre, on a cruise ship or on top of a mountain, your day will belong to you.

You are the shining stars, you and your love for each other.

It will be such a privilege to be your celebrant. Although I am based in Tauranga, I am prepared to travel further afield - destination weddings in Whakatane, Rotorua, Taupo, Coromandel, Waikato, Auckland, East Coast, Queenstown ... how exciting will that be for you! I would love to meet you in person or via Skype with no obligations at the first meeting. I am always available for you by phone and/or email. You are very welcome to contact me at any time.

If you needed assistance to create a special ceremony such as Elopement, Vow Renewal, House Blessing, Baby Naming or a Funeral, it will be an honour and a privilege to be part of your life celebration.

As a VCANZ celebrant and Registry celebrant, I am honoured to officiate Registry Weddings (this is the same service that has been offered over the years by the now-closed Courthouse registry offices).

I am in love with all 'love' ceremonies and although I follow the guidelines BDM has stipulated, your special day is still very special filled with romance, light-hearted moments and also a time to be serious. You choose the location within the Tauranga region - my house, your house, a park or at the beach.

ABOUT ME

I am fortunate to have attended The Celebrant School in Titirangi and to have been tutored by amazing celebrants who are all successful practising celebrants with many years of experience between them. I have successfully completed the Certificate in Celebrant Studies as well as my studies as a journalist which have strengthened my ability to interview you and write your own story, with your personalities shining through.

I love nature, that’s why I enjoy tramping - I regard this as a time to ground myself. I enjoy mountain biking as well as a game of squash with friends. I am also an amateur photographer of nature and people - and many times of weddings held in my backyard.

I have been a registered CANZ celebrant since 2013 and have officiated weddings, funerals and memorial services as well as baby naming ceremonies. I have also done many room blessings after loved ones have passed. Each of these was unique in their own right and I felt privileged to be part of such memorable and special times in people’s lives.

I am honoured to be a Registered Independent Validated Marriage and Civil Union Celebrant (VCANZ), a Member of CANZ as well as the Editor of Pãnui, the Official Journal of CANZ.
