Couples who want a relaxed, fun wedding are my ideal people. There are very few rules around getting married (you don’t HAVE to do what Gran or Aunty Joan says!) so I enjoy working with couples who are happy to do things a bit differently. I love marrying people on beaches or in any of the gorgeous venues around the Bay of Plenty. My couples always have plenty to say or write about themselves as a couple, making it fun for me to tell their stories. Sometimes they have children already and want them included in the ceremony, but they also understand that the children may not perform perfectly on the day! The couples I work with often have wonderful photographers and videographers who communicate well with me so we get some awesome memories of the day.

I am a marriage celebrant in Tauranga, New Zealand who loves love, particularly weddings! I feel fizzy with excitement every time I leave a wedding, knowing I've played an important role in the lives of the couple.

It’s an exciting time for you both and I would really like to be part of your celebration. I am a warm, positive and relaxed person and I absolutely love meeting new people. Becoming a wedding celebrant has been a fantastic experience and I enjoy helping couples to create personalised wedding ceremonies.

As a primary school teacher, I am well organised and I speak clearly, dealing well with large groups. I am fortunate to live in beautiful Tauranga but I am happy to travel further afield to 'get you hitched!'
