Connemara Country Lodge

Connemara Country Lodge is a grand 117-year-old country house, beautifully restored and set on 7.5 acres of farmland and native bush.

Boasting wonderful views from it’s hill top position over the Awhitu Peninsula’s farmland out to the Manukau harbour. Spacious decking and a large lawn surrounded by trees and post and rail fencing finish the picture around the house. The lovingly restored interior leaves you in no doubt that you have entered a by gone age. Large rooms with high decorative plaster ceilings and long hallways add to the homely welcoming feeling.

Set in park-like surroundings with large covered decks, it is ideal for more intimate weddings with up to 100 guests, elopements and micro weddings, with quality Accommodation for 8 guests.

At Connemara Country Lodge, we understand that couples can have very different requirements when planning their special day. Owners Grainne and Kevin are committed to supporting you with a range of customisable options.

We have an extensive range of decorative items and props as well as furniture, sound system, garden games, tableware, glassware, a bar, signage and much more. Please feel free to contact us to discuss pricing and packages available for your wedding or event.

There is a semi-commercial kitchen available for self-catering or professional caterers. We are happy to recommend caterers if required. Drinks and alcohol - BYO

We have several beautiful photography sites with native bush settings on our property. We will take your wedding party in 2 vehicles and wait for you while you have your photos and then bring you back up afterwards.

We are onsite on the day to ensure that things run smoothly.
