My name is Sue Radford and I have always loved the idea of being able to bring individuals, families and friends together to celebrate the power of relationships and the joining of couples together in marriage.
Having worked in education for many years, I have been part of a large inclusive community and I strongly believe that it is the right of all individuals to marry. I am also culturally aware and sensitive and have a good understanding of the cultural diversity of our community in New Zealand. I am interested in the stories of individuals and families and appreciate the opportunity to develop a ceremony for couples that is both personal and allows everyone present to share the importance of the occasion.
I am a confident speaker and presenter and I believe I understand the power of language and the significance of words to develop with a couple, a ceremony that includes not only the legal requirements of the marriage but also moments that will make this a day to remember for everyone to celebrate. These occasions are important and are for sharing. I have the combination of experience and a warm, engaging and personable sense of humour and can relate to a wide spectrum of people.
