### Omatua is an exquisite rural riverside venue nestled in Rissington, encompassing five acres of gardens and lawns. **This enchanting location is ideal for any season, offering a variety of options for wedding ceremonies amidst its expansive grounds, which provide endless photographic opportunities. Alternatively, envision an intimate fireside winter celebration in the charming Von Dadelzen room.** Our property is wheelchair accessible and is equipped with a commercial kitchen, restroom facilities, and accommodations for up to 47 guests, along with space for camping. The indoor venue, ‘Riddell Lodge,’ accommodates up to 120 guests for seated Weddings and up to 200 guests for standing cocktail-styled events. For a more intimate setting, our dining room offers a space for 60-80 seated guests, complete with a lovely fireplace. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to host marquee-style weddings, partnering with the local company, ‘Flagship Events.’ Their tailored packages include everything you need for a stunning outdoor celebration, from marquee and lighting to setup and breakdown, as well as a dance floor and other rental items. Conveniently located just a 25-minute drive from Hawke’s Bay Airport, Omatua is easily accessible for guests travelling from across the country. **Accommodation** Omatua can host up to 47 guests in 10 comfortable dormitory-style bedrooms. Bedroom layouts: * 5 bedrooms each contain 1 x Queen and 4 x king single beds. * 1 bedroom contains 8 x king single beds. * 1 bedroom has two bedrooms containing 1 x Queen and 1 king single respectively, and an ensuite. * 3 bedrooms contain queen beds. Omatua has two large separate halls/living areas - one, a recently furnished and decorated dining area attached to the full commercial kitchen which can seat 60 guests comfortably beside the fire, with large bay windows on one side of the room looking out toward the river. The other area is a large hall which is great for seating large groups of up to 100 people. Outdoor living is set over 5 acres of sprawling gardens including native and exotic trees.
