River Garden Retreat has your favourite areas of the garden available for that special day in your life! Are you looking for a unique wedding location that offers majestic views over the Buller River but is also set in a beautiful garden and has on site accommodation to get ready for your special day?

River Garden Retreat offers it all!

We have extensive lawn area to cater for a few hundred guests, or intimate areas under the oak tree, all with fantastic views overlooking the gardens and the mighty Buller River.

Its a why not this setting, standing above the huge boulder cut in two, overlooking the lily pond with guests gathered on the bridge and pathways surrounding the pond to hear those precious vows?

Refreshments served to your guests at tables set throughout the garden, while you have your formal photos taken privately in other areas of the garden. The gardens and surrounding areas are vast and the options are many!

Wedding breakfasts and drinks can be served from the Retreat facilities (your choice of caterer), or you may wish to go off-site for the breakfast.

Cover in the garden can be arranged/provided if the weather is inclement.
