Ethan Gillespie Photo and Media

I’ve grown up with the grass between my toes and the mountain air in my lungs. I’m a passionate photographer and videographer and my aspiration is to tell the stories of the people around me.

I started my photographic journey during my time in high school shooting at athletics meets or the school rugby matches and spending a few years learning about how to use cameras and gear (yes, looking back at my old work is very cringe). I then started picking up bigger events most of which I do on an annual basis, these are my favourite clients and I love going back to them each year. I then completed a summer internship with Avodah Photo + Cinema where I was introduced to the wedding photography industry both second shooting for them and learning from their talented team in the editing studio. In 2020 I rebranded to the name "Ethan Gillespie Photo and Media" and I now freelance in both photography, videography and editing.

Photography and Media have provided a platform for me to share people’s stories, and I would love to tell yours too.
