Marc is a thoughtful, patient and caring person who takes the marriage ceremony to the very heart of the matter.

He connects so easily with people.

His creative spirit fully personalizes a ceremony to truly represent a couple’s values and to dignify what marriage means for them. Marc ensures that the process is also light-hearted and fun and he can’t wait to work with you for your wedding.

In Marc’s words:

"I’m a young man... for some! I am also a professional engineer and have spent most of my career working with people in large companies both in New Zealand and in Canada. I realize that these are somewhat unusual and puzzling characteristics for a celebrant, and I think that is what makes me unique! I have worked closely with people throughout my career, ranging from those at the coal face to the highest levels of leadership. I easily engage and motivate. I am really down-to-earth and connect very easily with people.

I am a member of CANZ and have completed a Diploma in Celebrancy through the Celebrant Training College in NZ.

I have a French upbringing and am fully bilingual. If you want to get married in the French language, I can also do that!

I am curious and fascinated by the different experiences shared by people. I am also self-critical, intent on learning and always improving. I am light-hearted and relaxed and believe every day is a gift… so I love a good sense of humour.

I live inTai Tapu and will travel anywhere within Canterbury to work with you. I am also open to travelling anywhere in NZ, but I find it more effective to work face-to-face rather than via Zoom meetings.
