Getting married is a big life event and my aim is for you to feel relaxed and fully present during your ceremony - the heart of your wedding day. I can hold space for tenderness and reverence while maintaining a relaxed and informal atmosphere. I help couples wrap words around their feelings and bring their intentions to expression in a ceremony that truly reflects them. Here’s what Sophie and Larah had to say about working with me:
"Fiona did an outstanding job of officiating our wedding and exceeded our expectations in every way. Her warm and caring nature, and ability to listen deeply, made her the ideal celebrant. The process she took us through was not only fun but resulted in a ceremony that truly reflected us. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and our vision for the ceremony. We really appreciated her ability to incorporate basic reo Māori, and inject some playfulness into our day. We had so many wonderful comments about the ceremony and the way she held the space. If you’re looking for a celebrant who can help you to capture the essence of you (and/or your loved one), definitely book Fiona!" Sophie
“Thank you for helping us think about, plan and lead our ceremony. You were outstanding. You put such care and thought into the whole process; really respecting where we were coming from. You helped us craft something that suited us and the situation. It was everything we hoped for and more! You were absolutely the perfect person to lead our ceremony.” Larah
As well as weddings I also officiate funerals. It is a huge privilege to support families to honour and farewell their loved one. I'm a registered nurse, keen gardener and involved school parent living in Titahi Bay, Porirua.
